Our Story

1988

Founded in Monterrey, N.L. for the purpose of integrating services in Foreign Trade.

1990

Licensed as a customs broker for operation in the Customs Office of Nuevo Laredo.

1991

Licensed nationalcustoms broker for operation in any Customs Office in Mexico, thus expanding the coverage of our service. Initiated services to the courier industry with three strategic locations in Monterrey, Guadalajara and Toluca.

1995

DICEX begins “Just in Time”operations, opening 5 offices as part of our automotive and auto parts project.

1997

DICEX®Logistics is founded in Monterrey to offer supply chain solutions to our customers.

2002

The Center of Expertise (COE)is created in the city of Toluca in order to increase productivity and response times in Sea Ports operations.

2003

Opening of 3 additional offices/ distribution centers to attend to the market of courier services. DICEX incorporates more than 10 customs agents, offering coverage in the majority of the customs offices and ports of Mexico.
An alliance with FedEx Trade Networks Transportation and Brokerage, Inc. (FTN), with which we cover more than 95 ports of entry.

2005

DICEX International obtains ISO 9001certification.

2006

DICEX acquires the information technology company Venio Technologies in order to guarantee the development of custom software for our customers, becoming a pioneer in the industry.

2007

DICEX receives authorization to operate Inbound Transits in Mexico.

2010

The Bonded Area in Querétaro begins operations.

2011

DICEX International Distribution Center opens in Detroit, Michigan to offer new alternatives for consolidation to the automotive industry in the Midwest of the US.

DICEX obtains ISO 9001 certification and “Quality Customs Broker” NMX-R-026-SCFI-2009 in the 26 offices where we operate as a customs broker.

2012

We obtain certification by the FCPA Foreign Corrupt Practices Acts through the office of Sandler and Travis.

2014

DICEX International obtains C-TPAT certification.

2016

During the XXIII Mexican Foreign Trade Congress, we received the 2016 National Export Award in the category “Service Provider Companies”; delivered by the President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto and three Secretaries of State.

2017

We are recognized by the National Council of Foreign Trade (COMCE) with the “Rodolfo González Garza” award, in the Logistics Services Company category; it was delivered by Valentín Diez Morodo, national president of COMCE, and by Jaime Rodríguez Calderón, governor of Nuevo León.
